Between the worlds of Fukui and Fukuoka,
Glistening lakes framed by mountains and
fields stretch as far as the eye can see,
Yet running water is unavailable after
10:15am.
Kyoto greeted us with open arms.
“There are no sound checks here” she said,
as she replaced our performance pants with Yukata,
and ran us a hot bath (naked much?)
Sat down and re-vitalised by a flavoursome home style sukiyaki
dinner,
Kyoto eased our minds into a deep sleep on our cozy futon beds.
